Health advice for toddler with diarrhoea

What can I give my toddler that has diarrhoea.

I would recommend you to speak to a pediatrician about your child.

Make sure that you child is kept hydrated as chances of dehydration with diarrhea are very high. You can fix up a quick oral rehydration solution by putting 1 tsp sugar and a pinch of salt in a glass of water. Give it to your toddler to sip on every 5 mins.

You can also give your child stewed apple or apple sauce. Pectins in the apple help to bind stools. The pediatrician will help you to identify the right cause for diarrhea and suggest suitable treatment accordingly.
