Sarcoidosis is a connective tissue disorder, occurring in the age range of 20 - 50 years. Lungs are the first hit organ, followed by heart, pancreas, liver and nervous system. Hereditary factors and environment contributes in their own ways.
Abstainence from smoking is essential. Regular exercise in the open proves beneficial. Refrain from congested rooms and inhalation of fumes and smoke should be avoided.
