Natural remedies for white and brittle nails
My toe nails have become white and brittle and kind of cracked, kindly advise me what i should be doing to keep them look good and strong.

Besides aesthetic appeal, beautiful nails are every individuals dream. Follow these tips to keep them look good and improve the strength – - Use an oil based moisture after washing or bathing to keep your nail moisturized. - Don’t tear, pick or bite the nails.
Always keep them short and cut them in a straight direction. - Clear nail paint that contains protein can strengthen brittle nails. Brittle nails can be caused due to ageing as the flow of natural oils and moisture decreases in the nail bed.
White nails can be due to some nail fungus that are slow in healing or due to some underlying illness with advancing aging like some liver disease, chronic renal failure, type 2 diabetes or congestive heart failure. Consult a specialist to know the exact underlying cause for the problem and a treatment will follow accordingly.
