You can try the following home remedies for external piles - - Grind white radish with milk and apply on the affected area, this will help to reduce pain and swelling of external piles.
- Make a paste from the roots of bitter gourd plant and apply it over the piles to get relief.
- Avoid refined foods (as the fiber content is negligible), oily/fried foods, junk foods, canned foods, tea, coffee/ caffeinated beverages, sugar, sweets, spices and chilies in food and drink plenty of water.
- Minimize the consumption of non-vegetarian food as far as possible.
- Avoid smoking, drinking and sedentary lifestyle and try to shed a few pounds if you are overweight.
- Include ginger, garlic, onions, radish, beetroot, and bitter gourd in your meals along with buttermilk, fresh fruits and dark green leafy vegetables.
