Questions on HRT treatment

Please advise me how to come off HRT treatment. I have been taking them for several years and I want to stop. Do I just stop taking the tablets instantly or will this cause side effects?

To come off HRT is very difficult as root is arduous, time consuming and results are seen slowly.

The most effective ways to wean off any prescriptive medicines depend on how long you've been taking them, your particular physiology and pathologies.  If you stop "cold turkey" you are likely to experience some symptoms, as your body attempts to compensate for the elimination of the drug.  The reasons for taking HRT will determine what symptoms you may experience.  Women who have been taking HRT for menopausal reasons may have night sweats, hot flashes, mood changes, etc., while those taking HRT for "regulatory reasons" may simply have irregular menses for several months.  Consult a trained health care practitioner who can help you develop an individualized support plan for meeting your goal. http://www.countrydoc.com
