Lymphoma Cancer Treatment

Lymphoma treatments
(23 Feb 2010)

Cancer  normally occurs when regular cells undergo a change whereby they grow and multiply profusely and uncontrollably. As these cells continue to grow and multiply, they tend to form a mass that is often called a tumor. Lymphoma is that type of cancer that involves cells of one’s immune system, called the lymphocytes.

There are numerous types of Lymphoma. One of these types is called as the Hodgkin's disease. The rest are referred to as non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Free radicals have often been indicted as the main and primary reason for various malignancies. Some of the symptoms of lymphoma include fevers which come and go often, pain in the front of the chest, coughing and respiratory tract disorders. These symptoms may also be accompanied by difficulties in breathing, excessive fatigue and shortness of breath. There can also be itching in different areas of the body without any visible signs of a rash.

Studies have indicated that the content and quantity of flavonoids in supplementation with turnips was fairly significant. The antioxidant activity that the supplementation of turnip caused was nearly two to three times greater than other commonly used antioxidants like vitamin E and Selenium. Some ingredients that are present in the Turnip supplementation have shown a longer lasting tenacious radical activity hence adding at least 100 or more grams of raw turnip daily to one’s diet can prove beneficial. The prognosis and direction of Lymphoma can improve significantly in just six to eight months of treatment using the turnip supplementation in one’s diet. No side effects have been noticed or documented while following this line of treatment. Also no specific safety measures need to be followed while following this treatment.  Another ingredient that has proved to have shown significant results is the use of Murraya koenigii leaves. Try boiling at least 50 to 60 grams of finely chopped Murraya koenigii leaves in approximately a glass and a half of water or 250 ml of water. Let this boil for approximately 30 minutes. Next proceed to strain the solution and drink about 15 to 20 ml of this extract twice a day for at least six months. The prognosis of the disease shows a significant improvement. No side effects have been noticed or documented while following this line of treatment of using the Murraya koenigii leaves. Likewise as in the case of the turnip supplementation no particular safety measures need to be followed while following this treatment.
