Advice on neuritis: Can a person having neuritis allowed to smoke and to take alcohol/liquors?

Neuritis is a condition where a single nerve or a series of nerves get inflamed. Symptoms of neuritis include a burning and tingling feeling and piercing pains in the affected nerve. The main reason of the occurrence of neuritis is the existence of toxins in the body fluids. Therefore in your case it is very important to avoid the consumption of alcohol as excessive use of alcohol is one of the causes of neuritis. Other causes of neuritis are diabetes mellitus, faulty diet, overworking, nutritional deficiencies, poisoning with insecticides and metabolic disturbances.
Read on for some natural remedies for Neuritis:
- Add 1 tsp of honey to a cup of Soya bean milk and consume this drink for about 4 months
- Raw carrots and spinach are very valuable in treatment of neuritis. Drink a minimum of half a liter of a combination of raw carrots and spinach daily. Proportion - 200 ml of spinach juice and 300 ml of carrot juice.
- Almost all vitamins of the B group are useful in treating the symptoms of neuritis - numbness, weakness and extreme pain can be cured within an hour.
- Add 1 tsp of barley in 2 glasses of water and bring it to a boil. After a while add a cup of buttermilk and a dash lime juice. Drink this mixture twice a day.
