Health advice on high fever

The first question is why do you want to decrease the fever?  A fever is the body's way of incinerating micro-organisms which may be causing infection and is part of our natural defenses.  However, depending upon the actual temperature, the person's age, and condition --there could be times when it may be advisable to moderate temperature increases.


  One way of doing this is to sit in slightly cool bath water for awhile.
