There are many interesting ways in which you can make your child smart. Nutritional wise the tips mentioned below will help you. - Breakfast is considered the brain food for growing children. Never skip his breakfast. Specially include whole cereals, nuts, milk and milk products and fruits in his morning meals.
- Omega-3 fatty acid present in flaxseeds, fatty fish (mackerels, tuna, and sardines) is considered very healthy for the brain development of a child.
- Keep the consumption of junk foods, wafers/chips, oily foods, colas and chocolates at bay.
- Whenever your child is hungry keep healthy snacks or fresh fruits ready for him to avoid him indulging in wrong eating habits.
- Don’t keep nagging about good foods always, teach him to take his own decisions in that direction.
