Advice for slim looking face

Putting on weight around your face can prove to be a tricky proposition. In your case it seems to be around your stomach and your legs. Eventually, your face will begin to fill out. What you need to figure out is how to put that weight on your face without putting on too much weight around your stomach or legs.

Here is what you should do.

Start by eating nutritious foods that have a higher calorie value. Some of the foods that you can eat with a higher calorie value would include starchy and high carb foods such as breads, rice, pasta and potatoes. Use healthy oils to cook your food such as olive oil and flaxseed oil. These will add to your calorie intake without any adverse effects on your health.

Avoid eating too much junk food and sugary foods as the high salt, sugar and preservative content is not good for your overall health. Eating too much of these foods will only increase your chances of developing so called lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular disease.

Exercise regularly. Aerobic exercises, jogging and weight lifting will help to produce cortisol, a hormone that helps to slow down metabolism. Regular exercise will also help to keep the fat off your stomach and legs and give you a leaner, more muscled look instead.

Drink at least 8 glasses of water each day. This figure should go up in the summer months to compensate for extra fluid loss due to the heat. Water will help flush out the toxins from your body and will help to regulate your blood sugar levels.

Certain facial exercises will help to increase facial muscle mass. Breathe in and hold the air in your mouth, keeping your cheeks puffed out. Then slowly breathe the air out. Repeating this exercise several times a day will give your cheek and jaw muscles a good workout and can help you to put on weight around your face.

Another effective exercise to develop your cheek and jaw muscles is to smile forcefully and hold the pose for a minute or two. Then switch to a sulky pose and hold for another minute or two. Perform at least 3 to 4 sets and do it several times a day.

It is not possible to change the shape of the bones. ON the other hand, you can make face plump, by applying aswagandha tailam (an oil in which aswgandha roots are simmered for a long time, so that active ingredient goes into oil) for 5-10 minutes by light massage on face, at bedtime. This oil attracts muscular cells and growth at the places where it is massaged. Teenagers in India use it to massage breasts if development is inadequate.
