Treatment:

  • Keeping your skin well moisturized is the most effective way of treating eczema. Applying calamine lotion will help you achieve the same.
  • You can also apply aloe vera gel on your skin. Aloe vera is a natural skin healer that will not only soothe your inflamed skin but will also keep it moisturized.
  • Drinking tomato juice daily will also help you get rid of eczema effectively.
  • A paste made out of nutmeg can also help in getting rid of this condition.
  • The application of crushed mint leaves with rose water added to it will also help you alleviate the symptoms of eczema and will help you get rid of this condition effectively.

Preventive Measures:

  • A person suffering from eczema should avoid taking hot water showers, as this generally worsens their condition. Hot water dries the skin further causing this condition to worsen.
  • A person suffering from eczema should avoid coming in contact with chemicals found in detergents, soap washes and other cleaning solutions, as these could aggravate their skin condition. Wearing gloves would be the best solution if you need to use any of these products.
  • One must also avoid switching between extreme temperatures when faced with this condition.
