Fiber -- Fiber can keep you from being constipated and also softens the stools so they come out easier and with less force -- oat bran, psyllium seeds, ground flax seeds, etc.
Bioflavonoids -- Bioflavonoids (rutin, Daflon, hesperidin) can decrease inflammation and strengthen the walls of your blood vessels.
Aloe Vera -- For immediate relief apply aloe vera gel directly on the anus. It relieves pain and soothes the burning sensation.
Witch hazel -- You can apply witch hazel with a cotton pad directly on your piles. It is helpful in shrinking swollen veins. Use three times a day.
