Can you please advice as to what should be the diet for 1 year 5 months old baby?

This is a sample of a food introduction schedule for an infant based on the maturation of the immune system and organ systems, assuming the infant is otherwise healthy and being breast fed:

  • At 6 mos. introduce foods high in iron such as apricot, carrots, cauliflower 1-2 Tablespoons of cooked, pureed or mashed food daily.
  • At 9 mos. introduce foods high in zinc such as apples, black beans, cabbage, oatmeal, cooked rice cereal 2-4 Tablespoons daily.
  • At 12 mos., introduce foods high in zinc and fiber such as acorn squash, swiss chard, tofu, lentils, yogurt, parsnips, barley 4-10 Tablespoons daily.
  • At 18 mos. introduce foods high in B-vitamins and calcium such as beets, eggplant, buckwheat, fish, tahini
  • At 21 mos. introduce foods high in protein such as beef, peanut butter, cottage cheese, nut butters, etc.
  • After 24 mos. introduce corn, soy, wheat, tomato, duck etc.
