Diet for piles

What things one should avoid (in Eating) during piles.

  • Avoid spices and chilies in food and drink plenty of water.
  • Avoid refined foods (as the fiber content is negligible), oily/fried foods, junk foods, canned foods, tea, coffee/ caffeinated beverages, sugar and sweets.
  • Minimize the consumption of non-vegetarian food as far as possible.
  • Avoid smoking, drinking and sedentary lifestyle.
  • Increase intake of buttermilk, fresh fruits and dark green leafy vegetables in your diet.
  • Include ginger, garlic, onions, radish, beetroot, and bitter gourd in your meals.
