Early menopause is the cessation of menses for 12 months, before the average amenopausal age (47-53). Did you undergo a hormone test - checking your follicle stimulating hormone levels? Early / premature menopause is common after oophorectomy (ovary removal), hysterectomy or cancer treatment.
Visit your gynaecologist immediately.
