Cures for dry cough

I am coughing since 2 months. Mostly dry cough. I am finding it difficult to cough out phlegm. I have done all blood tests, x-ray and antibiotics but no use. Please advice.

Call a professional to check for mildew around the house. I also too had a coughing problem for three months. The answer was mildew behind the wall paper in the bathroom.

Cough is the response of the body to a stimulus of throat ,lung or bronchial tube inflammation. Try these techniques:
- Steam inhalation liquifies and loosens the mucus and reduces irritation.
- Vitamin (A, C, E) supplements prove beneficial.

- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper + 1 Tablespoon honey + 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger + 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar + 2 Tablespoons water is mixed and taken thrice a day. It relieves you of dry cough and removes the phlegm.
- Hot packs placed on your chest is soothing.
- Sleeping with your head on a higher plane is helpful in draining the passages.
