Puffiness of legs or dropsy may be caused by an accumulation of excess fluid under the skin. Edema may be caused by allergies or disorders of the kidney, heart, liver or bladder and affects all parts of the body, especially the feet and the ankles.
Try these tips to relieve yourself:
- Keep your legs at an elevated level to decongest the fluid.

Avoid sitting / standing, without moving for a long time.
- A herbal diuretic containing horsetail, goldenrod, juniper, cornsilk or dandelion can be used, after the guidance of your physician.
- High salt intake should be avoided, as it tends to lead to water retention, thereby worsening  the condition.

- Administration of natural plant pigment supplements known as flavanoids (eg. coumarin).
