Body-control pilates is a holistic way of arising body awareness through exercise. Every exercise is built on eight basic principles. They are: - Relaxation, - Alignment, - Flowing movements, - Co-ordination, - Concentration, - Centring, - Breathing and - Stamina
It helps in handling stress in an effective manner, achieve relaxation and helps in controlling the body.
It is seen to be helpful for people suffering from backaches. It helps in relieving stress and improves posture. Pilates are beneficial in providing general fitness and improves coordination.
