A flawless, even, soft and smooth skin is desired by all. Darken elbows can be caused by excessive exposure to sun, kneeling more than necessary on the elbows or due to changes in skin melanin pigment of the particular area. Lemon juice is acts as an exfoliating agent due to its whitening and softening effect and thus helps remove dead skin and lighten the elbow.
- Rub half a lemon on your elbows, and leave for 10-15 minutes wash it off while scrubbing firmly with a hot towel. Can also mix coconut oil with this to avoid dryness. Continue this daily for two weeks to see a difference.
- Mix lemon juice, glycerin, Vitamin E oil, and 2tsp of milk. Apply this mixture every night before going to bed.
Avoid too much kneeling on your elbows, make sure to remove the dead skin and moisturize them well with a sunscreen lotion with an appropriate SPF.
