Questions on the drug Midodrine
Is it harmful to take the drug Midodrine and have 2 glasses of wine that day?

Midodrine is a medicine used to hypotension (treat low blood pressure). It stimulates nerve endings in blood vessels, causing them to constrict. As a result, blood pressure is increased.
Wine has various health benefits like it helps reduce anxiety and tension, acts as a natural tranquilizer, aids digestion, provides our body with certain important antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. It also stimulates appetite. Consumed in moderation (60 ml) with food at mealtime, may help relaxation and lower blood pressure. (2 glasses of wine is NOT recommended.) I advise you to consult your specialist and adjust your drug dose according to your wine intake, if it is a regular practice.
