My skin colour is so black how can I get a white colour?

There are no herbal or cosmetic creams that you can use to make dark skin fair. However, exposure to direct sunlight causes your skin to tan and darken. You can eliminate any existing tan and prevent further tanning so that your skin becomes fairer than what it is currently.
There are several simple but effective home remedies that you can use to get rid of your tan.
Methods to get rid of a tan:
- Add a pinch of turmeric to a teaspoon of sandalwood powder. Add a few drops of your face wash to this powder and use this to gently scrub your face.
Both turmeric and sandal wood will help to lighten your skin tone. In addition to this, scrubbing your face with this coarse mixture will also help to get rid of surface dirt and dead skin cells. When you go for a shower, lather yourself well and then rub the tanned portions of your skin with a little bit of the turmeric sandalwood powder.
- Grate a piece each of raw potato and cucumber. Squeeze the juice out of these grated vegetables and apply the juice to your face. Leave this on for at least 30 minutes and then rinse your face with cold water.
- Mix a tablespoon of Bengal gram flour with one teaspoon each of honey and yogurt. Apply this paste to the affected areas of your skin and it allow it tom dry completely. Rinse it off with cold water and gently pat your skin dry. To improve the effectiveness of this pack, use a scrub to exfoliate your skin before you use the pack.
It is also important that you realize that the color of your skin is not as important as its tone and texture. Dark skin that is evenly toned looks a lot better than fair skin that is dull or blemished. Make sure that you follow a regular skin care program to eliminate acne flares that can leave your skin scarred and pitted. Ideally you should wash your face with a good face wash at least twice a day. If you have oily skin you may have to do this thrice a day and if you have dry skin once a day should suffice. Scrub your face every alternate day or so and treat your face to a nourishing face mask over the weekends. You will find that your skin problems cease once you stick to your routine and you will have smooth, unblemished, beautiful skin.
