The treatment or remedies for baldness would vary in their effectiveness, depending on a few factors. Since you haven’t provided any information regarding the nature of baldness – hair thinning or patchy baldness, whether sudden or gradual balding, your age, and gender among others it becomes hard to make an accurate diagnosis and prescribe the appropriate treatment. Since there is no indication in your query about the nature of the balding, I shall assume that this is normal balding, and proceed to help you accordingly.

Natural baldness or balding that is not caused because of some condition, is first and foremost a sign that you are aging, your body is wearing down. In some individuals however the hair loss, and later balding, occur earlier. Once you have lost hair you can not get it back.

In other words, failure to control balding, and the corresponding baldness can not be remedied naturally. There are however plenty of effective natural methods that you can use to stimulate hair growth, while restricting hair loss.

Here are some of the common remedies that you can use to deal with the problem of balding. These include lifestyle modifications and herbal or natural remedies, from a variety of alternative disciplines.

•    Massage therapy: In cases of temporary hair loss that are not very severe, a scalp massage has in fact been found to stimulate hair growth because of the improved blood flow. You can even use an electric scalp massager.

•    Aromatherapy:
An aromatherapy scalp massage is am effective natural remedy that combines the use of aromatherapy essential oils with massage therapy. You can use lavender and bay oil (essential oils) with a carrier oil and massage it into the scalp, leaving it on for at least twenty minutes. Keep in mind that essential oils always need to be diluted.

•    Detoxification: Toxemia may directly or indirectly affect hair growth, so cleansing is an important aspect of your battle against balding. Cleansing can be performed through oral means or even with colonic irrigation or an enema.

•    Dietary intake:
Your diet is obviously the main source of nourishment and just your hair too requires nourishment. An unhealthy diet deficient in any nutrient can therefore lead to hair loss or other hair problems. Make sure you have a healthy well balanced diet with lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Fish like salmon, tuna, and cod contain healthy essential oils, so it would be wise to include them in your diet as well. Dietary fiber is also important for cleansing.

•    Hair care:
You hair care practices are of the utmost importance so make it a point to use products meant specifically for your hair type. Avoid using harsh products and instead opt for more natural products. Follow other standard hair care practices like brushing you hair gently on a daily basis, never comb while wet, and avoid using hair dryers. These are just some basic hair care practices.

•    Other herbal and natural remedies that have been found to help hair growth and restrict balding include nettle root extract, saw palmetto extract, jojoba oil, and rosemary and sage to name a few.

•    Exercise: This may have no direct bearing on hair growth or loss, but it does affect circulation and other body functions that have an affect on hair growth. Some amount of physical activity daily would help improve your condition.

Make sure that you follow a good hair care routine, because no amount of natural remedies or diet and other changes can save your hair if you do not care for it appropriately.
