Health advice and dietary tips for chickenpox

I had chickenpox for the last 7 days and my boils are drying up now. What kind of food and precautions should I take. Please advise.

Chickenpox is highly contagious.  The virus is transmitted by direct contact or by droplets dispersed into the air by coughing.


Care to be taken
Personal hygiene takes the priority.



Do not scratch, as it results in scarring.
Use baking soda/oat meal in the bath, to relieve from itching.
Calamine lotion prove soothing and beneficial.



Trim your nails short.
Use an anti-bacterial soap to prevent infection from spreading further.

Diet
Hard-to-digest foods are to be avoided. Limit the intake of fatty foods.
Provide a soft and bland diet and avoid salty foods and acidic drinks like apple or orange juice.
