Everybody desires long, lustrous and healthy hair. A person feels anxious when his or her beautiful tresses begin to disappear or start thinning.
Baldness also called alopecia could be a partial or complete loss of hair on the head. The causes of baldness maybe due to aging, illness, hereditary or radiation.
Treatment for baldness
There is no treatment for baldness that is totally satisfactory. Nevertheless, hair transplants are an effective option. In this procedure scalp plugs bearing live hair follicles are exacted from the back of the head and transplanted to the region struck by hair loss. In this new region the hair continues to grow just like before.
Home Remedies for hair loss
- Healthy and lustrous hair to a large extent depends on an individual’s diet. Therefore it is necessary to have a well balanced and nutrient rich diet containing seeds, grains, nuts, fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Drop 4-5 leaves of henna in 1 cup boiling mustard oil. Cool the oil and massage it on the bald patches on a regular basis
- Make a paste of - 1/2 tsp lime seeds and 1/2 tsp black pepper seeds. Apply this paste to the bald patch regularly.
