Piles Cure
How do I know if my piles blood loss is excessive/just too much? I am 39 and I bleed when going to the loo so that the pan is splattered with bright red blood 2/3 times a day. I have an incredibly healthy diet/exercise etc.

I do concur with Dr. Benton. This is not an issue that can be resolved by taking a home remedy. You need to get yourself to a medical professional and find out where this blood is coming from and why you are bleeding.

You may have a very healthy diet and lifestyle, but the blood loss you describe, means your colon is not so healthy! The bright red blood may be more characteristic of rectal fissures rather than hemorrhoids. However, you may have both. Please seek the advice of a trained health care practitioner to help get your colon back into balance. You are way too young to look forward to bloody stools the rest of your life! http://www.countrydoc.com Dr. Karen Benton, Naturopathic Physician
