Thin hair: If you have thin hair, then chances are that either this is a hereditary factor or your hair is constantly exposed to heat or hair color. A poor diet or ill health can cause hair to look dull and limp. Since you mention dark circles and low hemoglobin too, we suggest you visit a doctor for a health check up.
Home remedies for thin hair:
- Be sure to get enough of vitamins through fresh fruits, vegetables and vitamin supplements. Nutritional deficiencies can lead to hair fall or thin hair. So along with the vitamins, stock up on all the other nutrients by eating a balanced diet.
- Some believe that a diet rich in proteins can help with hair growth.
- Too much stress can lead to hair fall and thin hair, and even dark circles. Try stress relieving techniques like yoga and meditation to reduce your stress levels. Take up a sport or exercise to help you let go of stress.
- Do not indulge in excessive hair coloring as hair dyes are often loaded with chemicals that can damage your hair or take away its natural luster.
- Try to use natural hair products instead of shampoos, conditioners and hair gels that have lots of chemicals.
- Your hair needs its natural moisture and natural oils. So, don’t shampoo too often as it might strip the hair of its natural moisture.
Dark circles: Dark circles can develop because of a lot of reasons including stress, lack of sleep, poor diet and illness. Some people are more susceptible to getting dark circles than others. Whatever be the reason, you could try some of these home remedies to get rid of the dark circles.
Home remedies for dark circles:
- Drink a lot of water throughout the day to keep your skin hydrated.
- Studies have shown that vitamin K can help diminish dark circles. A combination of retinol and vitamin K is supposed to be effective in getting rid of dark circles. Regularly applying a cream with these two elements can lighten the dark circles.
- You need to get adequate sleep every night. Sleep is also important for your overall health and well being. You should at least sleep for seven to eight hours every night. Enough sleep can reduce the chances of getting dark circles.
- Slice a cucumber or a potato and place the circular slices on your eye lids for about fifteen minutes every day. Wash your face with water after that and apply a cream for removing dark circles.
- Extract the juice of cucumber and refrigerate it. Mix lanolin cream and lemon juice. Apply some of this mixture around your eyes.
