  • Alfalfa cleanses the liver and supplies necessary vitamins and minerals. Twice a day for two days, take 1,000 milligrams in tablet or capsule form with a glass of warm water.
  • Peppermint capsules are used in Europe to cleanse the gallbladder.

  • If you have gallstones, or are prone to developing them, turmeric can reduce your risk of further problems.

In addition to the resources listed on this site, you may contact the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) website.  By simply typing in your zip code, you can find naturopathic physicians who are members of our professional association and may practice close to where you live.   These are physicians who have graduated from one of the four accredited naturopathic medical schools in the United States, and are licensed as primary care physicians from one or more of the states in which these specialized licenses are granted.

The good news is there are some very good natural therapies which can help with gallstones --and I speak from my own personal, as well as clinical experience.  http://www.countrydoc.com

The Resources section of the site has a list of professionals who specialize in alternative medicine practice. There are many naturopaths, their websites and other contact details to choose the best one for your needs.
