When I was in India I would get Ayurvedic treatments that massage warm oil into the scalp. Perhaps you can find a local spa that offers Indian Head Massage also known as shirobasti. It is an effective remedy for your condition and feels great too. Dr. Coleen Murphy, ND Natural Medicine Works

Try a few of these home based remedies for dry scalp: - Mix 1 tsp camphor and half a cup of coconut or margosa oil. Store this mixture preferably in a glass container. Massage this oil into the scalp before going to bed.
- Mix 1 teaspoon of castor, mustard and coconut oil each and massage into the scalp.
- Mix one part of lemon juice with two parts of coconut oil. Massage into the roots of the hair regularly.
