Tonsils prevent infection from making its way into our body. It plays an important role, but we often ignore the fact or are ignorant about it. When the tonsils get infected, they become swollen and red.
Sometimes, this causes ear infections. When you have tonsillitis, you’ll probably not be able to swallow and have trouble drinking water and eating. If you feel that your tonsillitis is chronic, then do visit a doctor and see if antibiotic medicines will help to control and cure the infection.
