Fertility problems could be complex and one has to remember that there are two people involved in the act of conceiving a child. Before you start to fear the worst, you have to remember that it is not so unusual to face trouble conceiving. It takes more than a little trouble conceiving for the term infertility to apply.
One of the biggest factors which usually come in the way of conceiving easily would be age. It is common knowledge that the older a person gets, the lesser the chances of easily conceiving. This general rule can also apply to men who wish to father a child. However, you should not let this discourage you since there are many ways to fight the role that age plays in conception. One also has to look at the various other possibilities that could be interfering with the process of conception. There is a possibility that the fertility of the male could be the problem and not that of the female. One could check with a fertility specialist so as to rule out such a possibility. At the same time, it could be lifestyle factors which get in the way of having a baby. For instance, underweight men face problems with fertility as do men who are overweight. With women, it could be hormonal changes which are possibly at fault. There are different home treatments which should help you increase your chances of getting a second child. You could try the following suggestions before speaking to a fertility expert, if you do not want to visit one now. At the same time, you have to remember that since age works against you, it might be a good idea to check with such a specialist to boost chances of conceiving again.
One basic point that couples tend to overlook is that infrequent bouts of making love are not really efficient if the couple wishes to have a child. Lovemaking should be regular especially when the woman is ovulating and should not be viewed as just another routine. It would be immensely beneficial if both you and your partner start to make better choices when it comes to food. You will need plenty of healthy foods and plenty of vitamins as well as nutrients. The two of you can take the opportunity to exercise together so as to reach healthy weights. Do check with a doctor since problems like fibroids could have an adverse impact on conception.
