The single symptom you have described is one of the commonest symptoms of urinary tract infection (UTI). If you are suffering from urinary tract infection, then you can take a few steps to get rid of it at home. But before you begin, it is essential to you know that if your UTI has been around for longer than a week, you may need medical attention.
If the infection has become deep rooted, then you would have to get rid of it with the help of antibiotics. If you have also got a few more symptoms, such as having the urge to urinate but very little liquid coming out when you sit to urinate, or cramps in the stomach, or a low grade fever, then you would need to definitely visit a doctor and get yourself set up for antibiotics. However, if you have a mild infection, then it is far easier to get rid of it yourself. The first thing you need to do is start having large quantities of cranberry juice. This is an excellent anti oxidant and is extremely useful, especially when dealing with a UTI. It contains a certain type of substance that feed off the bacteria present in your urinary tract. Have as much as you can, and certainly, keep having it all day.
You should also simultaneously have increased quantities of water. Water is very effective in flushing your system and the more you have, the better the chances you can flush toxins from your body. Fresh and unflavored yogurt is the best solution to get rid of the infection. Use generous quantities and apply to your vaginal area. You can also use your fingers and insert a small quantity of it into your vagina for excellent results. Let this stay for about half an hour and then bathe as usual. Fresh yogurt contains live and active bacteria which is extremely useful because it tends to feed off bacterial infestations that are present on your skin. You can also have large quantities of fresh yogurt as a part of your diet. Both ways, you will find that your difficulties are drawing to a close. You should also take care so that this problem does not recur. Maintain cleanliness and good hygiene, and avoid urinating in public place. If you are prone to catching an infection, you should also use protection while having sex, particularly if it is with various partners.
