Treatments for Chlamydia

I have that infection for 4 years now, with no itching, no burning. Only a white discharge and pain after intercourse. I tried all treatments for candida but nothing works. Is it really a fungal infection? What can I do to get rid of it?

The condition that you have is indeed not a candida infection but a rather more serious bacterial infection Chlamydia. For future reference, remember that yellow discharge indicates gonorrhea, white indicates Chlamydia, and grayish could indicate vaginosis. Since you have not mentioned your gender but since you did mention that you have had this problem for the past four years, the assumption is that you are a woman.

Chlamydia is exceptionally deadly in women because one can have it and not even realize it until it is in its worst stages. You needn’t worry too much though because this is an infection that can be cured with the use of antibiotics. However, a thorough physical examination would be required to ensure that you have not acquired Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, which can render you sterile.

Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease that is spread through unsafe sex practices and will occur through oral, anal, or vaginal sex. The disease is largely asymptomatic in women. The few who are affected know about it only when the very symptoms that you described come up. These could take many years to develop but when they do, a white discharge filled with bacteria, painful intercourse, and frequent urination is seen. Men will develop much the same symptoms but will develop them much faster. In addition, the infective bacteria will also move up the urethra of men and reach a sac near the testes called the epididymis, where sperm is stored and matured. This fundamentally will render a male sterile forever. Other problems that will occur is when the bacteria travels up to the eyes and causes conjunctivitis and if untreated, the loss of vision. The Chlamydia bacteria is an odd one which is dependent on host cells. If the host cells are starved of amino acids, iron, and magnesium, the bacteria will stop replicating and go into a state of continuous growth instead. Once conditions are favorable, the bacteria will reactivate again.

Treating Chlamydia is done through heavy-duty antibiotics like azithromycin, doxycycline, tetracycline, and erythromycin. Naturally, you will have to ingest a lot of garlic, every day until the condition gets resolved. Garlic is a natural antibiotic. Topically, you should douche with some tea tree oil or use a tampon dipped in tea tree oil. Ensure that the discharge does not come in contact with the skin. Do not have sex during this time of healing and you should be fine in a month.
