Antibodies or immunoglobulins are simply proteins which are present in the body fluids or blood of vertebrates. They are used by our immune system for the purpose of identifying and neutralizing foreign invaders, such as viruses and bacteria. Antibodies are produced in the plasma cells.
These are primarily a type of white blood cells, which form an integral part of our body’s defense mechanism. Moving on to your second query, I take it that you are referring to a tooth ache. Toothaches may be constant, shooting, throbbing or sharp. This condition can cause a lot of discomfort. If the tooth ache has been due a decaying tooth then consulting a dentist is highly recommended. This is simply because the infection, if ignored, may result in the extraction of the tooth and besides it may spread to the neighboring teeth, infecting them as well.
Here are a few home remedies for toothaches that can help in alleviating a toothache. Clove oil is by far the best method of treating this kind of pain. Apply 2-3 drops of the oil on to the affected tooth and the gum that surrounds it, twice a day. As an alternative, chewing on cloves will also help. Gently chew on a clove so that the juice leaks out into the concerned tooth. Cloves are known to possess anti-septic properties that will help in fighting an infection. The application of a warm compress will also help. Warm a liter of water. Once the water is favorably hot, dip a cotton towel in it and then squeeze out the excess water. Now hold the hot towel against the cheek, which corresponds to the aching tooth. Repeat this several times, till the water cools. This treatment would help in enhancing blood circulation and will also reduce pain. Only make sure that the water is not too hot, lest you burn yourself.
Mix together a teaspoon of common salt and a dash of pepper powder. This mixture serves as a great detrifice. It is recommended for all kinds of dental ailments such as toothaches, dental cavities, bleeding gums and foul breath. You could also add a dash of pepper powder to 3-4 drops of clove oil. This should then be applied on to the aching tooth to alleviate pain. Juice made from wheatgrass is also beneficial for this condition. The juice, when used as a mouth wash, helps in treating both toothaches and tooth decays.
