Dark Skin Care
I need a remedy to lighten my entire body. I was fair skinned but now only my chest area is fair. I want to regain that colour for my entire body?

You should be able to regain your original and lighter complexion quite easily since the darkening that you mentioned is probably caused by tanning. Although the immediate effects of a sun tan are very obvious, you skin can continue to darken for weeks after your exposure. The sun’s UVA and UVB rays are responsible for tanning as well as more serious conditions like skin cancer.
A sunscreen lotion will reduce tanning as well as protect your skin from the harmful effects of the sun. You will need to use a sunscreen lotion every time you leave your house during the day. Make sure that your sun screen lotion has a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 30. If you have oily skin, use a sunscreen that is specifically labeled noncomedogenic as this lotion will not clog up your pores or cause acne.
Apply your sunscreen at least 30 minutes before going out in the sun as it needs time to soak into your skin. When you go swimming, make sure that you use a lotion specifically designed for such use. Also, make sure that you reapply it as often as directed. Very often, people tend to have darker skin on their arms. This form of tanning is called “farmer’s tan”. If this is the case with you, you will need to protect your arms as much as possible. Avoid sleeveless or short sleeved tops and wear full sleeved tops instead. Depending on your tan and how much you want to get rid of it, you may also want to consider sun protective clothing. These clothes are specifically designed to protect your skin and can block over 95% UV rays.
Sometimes, people who have experienced a sudden spurt of weight loss can also have skin that has become very dark very suddenly. This is not uncommon either. The sudden shrinking of the skin can result in it darkening. Only time and constant skin care can take care of this situation. You should massage your skin with pure vitamin E oil as frequently as possible. This is usually the best remedy for skin that has darkened in this manner. About twice a week, you can also apply a full body mask. You can make this with a mixture of natural and mild bleaching agents. Make your mask with any or all of these ingredients: papaya, pineapple, tomato, potato juice, lime juice and hydrogen peroxide. . Try to do this before bedtime, so that you do not end up going out in the sun soon after this.
