The best way to get rid of earwax deposits is to irrigate your ear. This is a harmless and helpful method to get rid of the waxy deposits. Your best bet is to use a warm saline solution.
This is the easiest method to get rid of thick and heavy wax from inside the ear. To begin with, add a spoon of salt to a glass of warm water. Use a clean dropper to squirt the warm water into your ear canal. Make sure you do not make to water too warm. All you have to do afterwards is to turn your head and let the water drip out of your ear. Repeat this process at least five or six times consecutively to completely melt and flush out the solidified wax. Please do keep in mind however, that it may take several salt water irrigations for positive results, depending on how thick the deposits are. If you do this around three to four times daily, you should be able to see positive results in about two to three days. You should then be able to hear quite well and clearly.
Another really good way to loosen up waxy deposits in your ears is to pour hydrogen peroxide in your ears. This will work towards loosening up the wax and will help to empty out your ear a great deal. You should let the hydrogen peroxide remain in your ear for at least 10 minutes. Once you hear it crackling, you know that the cleaning process is hard at work. After this, all you have to do is use a simple cotton swab to clean out your ear. Whether you have used the salt water irrigation method or hydrogen peroxide, it is extremely important that you dry your ear well. If the insides of your ear are moist, they provide a pefect environment for bacteria and fungus. Some of these infections can even cause you to lose your hearing over a period of time. Please do keep in mind that you should be trying out these solutions for about a week only. This too is a long time to keep trying these things out without seeing any positive results. If your hearing problem persists after a week or so, then you should consult a doctor. This is important because in case you do not have waxy deposits and something else is causing these problems, you will know.
