The only reason for all the three problems that you mention above is smoking. And the only thing that can really help you is giving up smoking. Your lips, chin, gums are turning dark because of nicotine stains caused by the cigarettes. And the more you smoke, the darker they will get. There are many easy tips to restore the color of your lips, but then if you really want the remedies to work wonders, you need to quit smoking. Follow these tips till the original color of your lips is back: Use Vaseline in the night to moisturize your lips, after brushing your teeth in the morning, use a soft bristle toothbrush and brush off the left over Vaseline and dead skin. You can dab your lips with almond oil and milk cream to keep your lips moisturized and the oil coating will also prevent nicotine stains from forming on your lips. Apply fresh yogurt or milk cream for two hours every day or night. This will help not only your lips but also take care of the wrinkles around your mouth. Lemon is natural bleach, so applying lemon juice and leaving it overnight and washing it off in the morning will lighten the color of your lips. You can also gently scrub your lips with lemon daily, leave it on for 10 minutes and wash it off. But then, lemon could be harsh and sting your lips, so apply glycerin or almond oil 10 minutes before you apply lemon.

There are a few mixes that you can use to lighten your lips. Apply a combination of rose water with equal amounts of almond oil, glycerin and honey, all mixed really well. Leave the pack on for 15-20 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. You can also use a mix of freshly squeezed lemon juice and one teaspoon of honey added to it. Mix it well, dip a cotton pad in it and place it on your lips and chin. Keep it on for 15 - 20 minutes, then wash your face with lukewarm water. Lime will work as natural bleach and honey as natural moisturizer and will reduce the stinging caused by lemon. Follow this regime for 15 days or till the color is back on your chin skin and lips. Another effective remedy is to take about one teaspoon of curd, ½ a teaspoon of lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric powder, mix the ingredients well and apply the pack on the affected area. Let the paste dry and then cleanse with plain water. Like mentioned before, if you stop smoking all these remedies will help you considerably.
