Your description reveals that your skin is suffering from a case of extreme and excessive dryness. In order to take care of this problem effectively, you should concentrate on deeply moisturizing your skin. What you need to do is saturate your skin with oils till it can take no more of the greasiness.

You should not only add some amount of oily richness to your food, you should also try for topical application as much as you can. To begin with, you need to follow a proper daily routine of moisturization. It is best to do this after your morning bath.

Cream or moisturizer applied at this time will stay with you for the whole day. In the beginning, you would need to apply cream or oil to your whole body completely and totally at least thrice a day. While this may seem particularly time consuming, please be assured that the results are more than worth the time and trouble you may be taking. For a whole week, you should slowly and meticulously apply cream to your whole body as soon as you get out of a bath. This is usually the best time also because your skin has opened up all its pores while you were bathing. Anything you apply immediately after a bath will penetrate deep inside your skin and will stay there for a good amount of time. You should also make it a rule to start using soaps that contain some amount of oil for your skin.

You should repeat the application in the afternoon and then again at night. If possible, try to bathe at night and then apply the cream. This will show better results than if you simply apply the cream without a bath. You should try to choose a heavy moisturizing cream for this purpose. Do not go for grease free options. Looks for labels that promise "deep hydration" or "intense moisturization". These will work best for you. You need to do this for a whole week before you try to change to another cream. If creams do not seem to be working for you, you can try to apply oil to your body. Olive, coconut or mustard oil are the best options you have for this purpose. Just bear in mind that both coconut oil as well as mustard oil has a very strong odor and this will rub off on your clothes as well.
