There are excellent and quick remedies available quite easily in the kitchen to take care of indigestion. As a matter of fact, there are separate remedies available for separate types of indigestion as well. For instance, if you are suffering from gas and a general feeling of bloating, then your best bet is to tackle this problem with an agent that will help to release gas.
Make a digestive drink with plain club soda to which you have added a half teaspoon of rock salt. Drink this before the bubbles of the soda subside. This is sure to release your gas and get rid of the bloated feeling very quickly and effectively.
The rock salt will help to ease the indigestion as well as help to get rid of gas. In case you are suffering from stomach aches and cramps that come when you eat something not properly cooked or else stale food, then you should try to suck on a lime half. The best way to do this would be to roast half a lime on the stove and sprinkle rock salt on it. This can be sucked on all day. This will cure your indigestion almost magically. Another very effective remedy to get rid of indigestion is also to chew on a piece of ginger all day. The juices that will emanate from the ginger will help to ease your condition.
If you are suffering from a troubled stomach which is causing loose motions or constipation, then you can also try to make a mixture of a teaspoon each of salt and sugar and have this in a glass of water. If you can have anise seeds, this will also help to ease your condition to a very large extent. Another really good remedy is to have warm milk to which crushed figs have been added. This is the best way to clean out your system of all sorts of toxic wastes that may have gathered there. The best time to have this is also at night, so that you can clean out your system very effectively and well first thing in the morning. Make sure the milk is warm and have this as soon as the figs are mixed. Otherwise, the milk will turn rancid and will give you further indigestion. Depending upon the type of indigestion you are suffering from, you can determine your own condition and take the solution which applies to you best and most closely.
