It will help to ease your heartburn to a large extent. You should also make it a point to have chilled or cool milk thrice a day. This will also help to fight heartburn and will also not give you acidity. Eat mild foods that do not have any spice. To begin with, you should stick to completely non spicy food for a week or so. Once you have fully recovered, you can gradually begin to add spice to your food. In any case, it is a good idea to have less of spice in your food generally as well. Spiced will always tend to make your system weaker.
