Piles also very commonly referred to as hemorrhoids is a very painful condition that affects millions of people worldwide. Piles is brought about when the veins present in and around the anus get inflamed. An inflammation and swelling of the veins inside the rectum is termed as internal piles, while an inflammation of the veins located around the anus is known as external piles.
Internal piles may cause bleeding but is generally painless, unlike its external counterpart, which can cause severe pain and discomfort. In all probability, going by your description, it does seem that you may have internal piles. This condition may at times lead to something known as prolapsed hemorrhoids. This occurs when the inflamed veins swell and begin to extend or descend through the anus. These hemorrhoids can then be felt from the outside of the anus. As of now, consulting a physician would be the most prudent way to go.
In the meanwhile here are a few home remedies that can help in treating this ailment to some extent. First and foremost you will need to stop straining during a bowel movement, as this is one of the main causes of this condition. Consume a diet that has a high fiber content, this will prevent constipation. Pomegranate peels are an effective home remedy for piles. Boil 500 ml of water and add the chopped peel of one pomegranate to it. Let the two simmer for a few minutes on a low fire. Leave the mixture aside to cool, after which strain it into a glass. This decoction should be consumed twice a day, it will be favorable. Soak 5-6 figs in a bowl of water and leave it aside overnight. Consume the figs, first thing the next morning, along with the water in which they were soaked. This treatment should be performed daily for 2-3 weeks.
Mix together a tablespoon of honey, one teaspoon each of mint juice and lime juice and half a teaspoon of ginger juice. This mixture should be had daily, it is considered to be highly effective for this condition. Apply a few drops of coconut oil to the concerned area; this will help in alleviating pain. Blend one radish into a thick paste and then extract its juice. Mix one tablespoon of this juice with an equal quantity of honey. This mixture should then be applied on to the affected area. It will help in gaining relief. Finally, avoid consuming foods that will induce constipation.

You are absolutely right in your self diagnosis. However, you should also be aware that these are the kind of piles that can be taken care of quite easily. Commonly known as hemorrhoids, these can be taken care of by making some simple changes. If your pains are continuous, then this is the first thing you should tackle. An excellent way to get temporary relief from the pains you are suffering is to apply cold compresses. If you do this off and on for a day, you will find that you have managed to get relief from the pain to a very large extent. But this is only a temporary measure. You should also work towards healing yourself totally. This will also be of great help in not only providing relief but also in making sure that you do not aggravate your situation further. You can heal properly if you make a paste of turmeric powder and rose water and keep applying this frequently to your anus. Turmeric powder has healing and anti septic properties, while rose water will soothe your pains.
You have mentioned that you apply pressure to pass your stools. This needs to be addressed as well. The first question to ask is whether you are passing hard stools. If you are, then you need to tackle this problem. Because if you continue to pass hard stools, then you will only aggravate your hemorrhoids and worsen them. There will be no cure in sight for you then. You can do this by taking a high fiber and low carbohydrate diet. This is the best way to introduce roughage into your system. Milk is also a mild laxative, and if you take this at night before bedtime, you will find that you will pass stools more comfortably and without straining the next morning. Figs are also an excellent laxative. When taking along with your warm milk, they will work extremely well. If you are suffering from constipation, you will also find that a teaspoon of castor oil chased with hot water or milk can also do very well for you. To get relief from the pain in your anus, you can apply witch hazel to the entire area. Leave this on for best results. You can also apply this product as frequently as possible, since it is completely natural and also very gentle and mild. Follow these methods for quick and effective relief from your pain and hemorrhoids.
