The most important thing with allergies is that you should know what is causing them. Your allergy sounds more like a case of eczema than anything else. It is essential you get this problem checked out by a dermatologist before you start trying to treat it with home remedies.
Only a dermatologist, more commonly known as a skin specialist will be able to tell you what the problem exactly is. If you are indeed troubled with allergies, you can use some easy kitchen based remedies to slowly and gradually get rid of them. Just remember that this will take a lot of time to actually get done. Remedies from that part of the home usually take time to get cured. The first thing you should do is make it a daily routine to start applying a paste made with olive oil and turmeric powder to the fingers. Irrespective of whether or not you are troubled with the symptom you have described, you should continue to do this for a good month or two. This will take care of the topical and surface part of your problem in any case. Both turmeric powders as well as olive oil are excellent healing agents that will go a long way towards removing any problem from the root.
In order to reach the bottom of your allergies, you should start taking a daily dose of Indian gooseberry everyday. This is nature's richest bounty of vitamin C, the base of all immunity. If you can manage to get in three doses of this each day for a good six months, you will find your body fit and healthier than it has ever been. You will also stop attracting these small types of infections and annoyances. You can find Indian gooseberry in pill or powder form quite easily in any store that sells natural or organic goods. Echinacea extract is also another thing that will help to boost your immunity to a very large extent. This is also available in stores that sell organic as well as natural goods. You may also find it in a local pharmacy that keeps natural remedies. It is usually available in the form of capsules, and you must take the prescribed dosage for it as well. Of course, you would have to follow all of these remedies for a good six months to a year before you can see any results.
