I have excess hair all over my body especially stomach, back and legs. Can you please tell me how can I reduce those excessive hairs?

If by reduce you mean actually reducing the growth of the hair on your body, then there is probably only one way to do this by using certain drugs that contain hair growth reducing enzymes. Hair growth is determined by genetics, and to some extent by hormone levels in the body. There are no therefore not many treatments that actually reduce the amount of hair growth, and no home remedies to do this all the available and safe treatments focus on removal of hair that has grown.

Some of these are extremely simple, cheap methods that can be used at home, while others require varying amounts of expenditure and/or expertise. Hair removal methods can also be temporary or permanent. Most of the basic methods are temporary methods hair is either plucked from the root or cut at the surface of the skin, and it eventually grows back but there are treatments that destroy the hair follicles themselves, which permanently stop hair from growing on the treated area of skin.

Most people prefer to use temporary hair removal methods, mainly because the expense is usually negligible. For large areas of skin such as the abdomen, back and legs, a good option is waxing, although it can vary from person to person. If your skin is sensitive, there may also be a small amount of bleeding just after waxing, and some soreness for a day or two. Also, while you can use a home waxing kit for your legs and abdomen, you will need help for your back this will probably mean visiting a professional, which could be a bit expensive. You could shave, but this is usually not preferred for areas of skin such as the back and abdomen. On the other hand, it is certainly not necessary to use one single method all over your body you could for example shave your legs but wax your abdomen and back. You could also use a hair removal cream or powder, but be sure to test the product on a small area of skin, as the chemicals may not agree with you. You could also consider investing some money in a mechanical epilator the device may be slightly expensive, but you can then use it at home with great ease and speed.

If you would still prefer to actually stop the growth of hair, then you need to talk to a cosmetologist or a hair and skin specialist.
