If you have developed spots on your face suddenly, then the first thing you need to do is look out for a reason why this has happened. Since you have been using this cream for such a long time, it is unlikely that this could be the reason for your spots. Most of the time, a cosmetic product reacts with your skin quite quickly, rather than waiting for years to show a reaction. If you have developed black spots, the most advisable step for you to take would be to consult a dermatologist. This is a skin specialist, who will be in a better position to determine exactly what these spots are and why you have developed them so suddenly. Once you know the reason, it becomes easier to solve the problem more effectively by suggesting the appropriate cure for it.
Sometimes, a sudden hormonal change could trigger darkened skin spots. This is also known as hyper pigmentation. This could happen if there is a sudden change in your lifestyle or a great upheaval of some sort that has befallen you. Other times, it could also be something as simple as a sudden bout of over exposure to the sun that has led to this unusual occurrence. In this case, you must do the best you can to prevent exposing your skin directly to the sun. Make it a point to always apply a thick layer of sunscreen lotion before leaving the house. In fact, you would do well to start applying it immediately after your bath everyday. Make no exceptions. Sometimes, indirect sun rays can also darken extremely sensitive skin. This will at least prevent your skin from darkening further in any case. If indeed you are diagnosed as a victim of exposure to the sun, you can follow a simple cleansing routine. Use fresh buttermilk and scrub your face and dark areas with it for a good 30 minutes before each time you bathe. This will help to lighten your spots considerably. In case your problem stems from something else, you can use Aloe Vera to help with reducing the discoloration. Aloe Vera gel has unique healing as well as skin lightening properties that will help you a great deal. Using organic apple cider vinegar will also help to take care of the discoloration. If you follow the above mentioned remedies regularly for at least a month, you will begin to notice remarkable changes.
