I have a dark complexion. How to become fair?

A dark complexion is usually because of heredity and if your family is dark skinned, then this is reason for your dark complexion. However, this does not mean that you have to remain content with your complexion. You can make changes to your diet and to your lifestyle so that you stay healthy.


This will be reflected in your complexion, which will definitely become a few shades lighter and glow.

Applying lemon juice regularly will help lighten your skin. Apply fresh lemon juice on your skin every day. Applying it at night will give it several hours to work on your skin. Aloe Vera gel is also very effective in lightening the tone of your skin. In addition it will make your smooth and silky. You can apply this for an hour every day. This can be applied and left on at bedtime for best results. You can also drink Aloe Vera juice every day on an empty stomach. Application of a gram flour face pack will also help lighten your skin color. Mix two tablespoons of gram flour with a pinch of turmeric. Add a teaspoon of milk and mix to form a paste that spreads easily. Apply this on your face, neck and arms. Leave it on till it dries on your skin. Regular application of this face pack will work wonders and help your skin look softer and healthier. You can also use juice extracted from raw potatoes to apply on your face. This can be applied with a clean cotton ball and allowed to dry on the skin before it is washed off. Cucumber juice is also very reflective in lightening the skin color. You can also mix two tablespoons of oatmeal powder with a teaspoon of yogurt and some drops of honey and apply this on your face and neck. Regular application of mashed ripe papaya is also very effective in giving you a healthy, glowing fair skin. Use ripe papaya and mash the flesh before you spread it on your face.

In addition to these applications, you can also make some changes to your daily diet in order to ensure that your skin looks healthier and you become fair. You can ensure that you eat green leafy vegetables regularly. Fresh fruits can also help you remain healthy and should be eaten every single day. Vegetables like beetroot, radish, and spinach are all very effective in keeping you healthy. You should also drink vegetables juices. You can drink a juice made of carrots, beetroot and cucumber. This is very effective in helping your skin glow.
