Your cure and solution will depend completely upon how long you have had the problem. Sometimes, when the blockage has been there for a very long time, you may actually be suffering from an infection without realizing it. This is because when there is too much of waxy deposit, it can actually trap water inside your ear, thus leading to infections.
It is better that you get yourself examined by a doctor and determine that you are nit suffering from an infection of any sort. This should be your first step. The other thing you must also obey as a golden rule is that you should not poke anything into your ear, especially sharp objects of any kind.
This could actually damage your ear considerably, causing more harm than good. One of the easiest ways to get rid of wax deposits in your ear is to use a simple irrigation method. This would entail pouring a few drops of warm water in your ear, leaving them there for about a minute and simply tilting your head so that the water flows out easily. You should make sure that the water is slightly warmer than lukewarm. You must do this about three to four times. After that, wipe the inside of your ear gently with a cotton swab. Repeat this procedure at least thrice daily for a week or so. If you do not see any results after a day, you can try to add a few drops of baby oil to your ear to loosen the wax deposits. Baby oil is basically mineral oil, which has the property to break through thick layers of wax. This should help to clear out your ear to a large extent, and it should also not have any side effects since you are only using water here. Remember that if this method fails to clear out your deposits, then you would need something stronger.
You can try putting a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in your ear and letting it stand for some time. After a couple of minutes, you should hear a crackling sound inside your ear, which will mean that your blockage is being cleared. This kind of sound is an indicator that the peroxide is working at cleaning out your deposits. As with water, you would simply have to tilt your head to remove the peroxide from your ear after a few minutes. You can also use diluted vinegar (one part of vinegar to one part of water) instead of hydrogen peroxide.
