If your hair has changed so much in texture, size and health, there would have to be a reason for it. Try to first isolate the reason, as this is a better way of tackling the problem. If you attack and kill the roots of any problem, it is unlikely that it will pop up again to bother you.
Factors that cause hair loss and general reduction of the texture of your hair are many. It could be stress which is causing you to lose hair. It could also be pollution, general unclean habits or an unclean environment that has caused the problem.
It could also be poor eating habits, as a result of which nutrients do not go directly to your hair. Try to see if any of these fit the bill and treat yourself accordingly. If none do, then you can try to adopt some simple methods to ensure the good health of your hair. You can use any shampoo for good hair, but it has to be the kind that suits the texture of your hair. You must buy and use a shampoo that is suitable for your hair type. If you have oily hair, try to use a shampoo specifically formulated for oily hair. The same rule holds true for dry or normal hair as well. It is preferable to use organic shampoos as much as possible. These will contain fewer chemicals and will maintain the pH balance of your hair and scalp better. It is also better to use shampoos that are based on natural products. Such as, an aloe vera shampoo will work well for hair. Some other generically good hair products are lavender, almonds, thyme and rosemary. If you can use shampoos made out of these products, it will be beneficial to you. The same is also workable for conditioners. However, there are a few natural conditioners you can use to improve your hair. One of the best ones is a wild herb commonly called soap nut powder. If you can find it, this is the best product to make your hair soft and silky again. Another excellent natural conditioner is yogurt. If applied to your hair after a wash and left on for a few minutes each time you wash your hair, it will show excellent results. Henna powder, when mixed with egg to form a spread able paste, is also a very effective conditioner. You don’t need to use it more than once a month.
