Underweight problem and healthy diet for underweight and to increase weight

I am underweight. I have tried to increase my diet from the last three months but it didn't work. l also had a thyroid test which was totally normal. But still I am not gaining weight. Please help?

Most people who are underweight and unable to increase their weight believe that this has something to do with their body that perhaps they are suffering from some illness. Our lives are so full of tensions and worries that despite the best food that you consume, often this fails to show on your frame in the form of increased weight. If you are stressed about your inability to gain weight, this could be interfering with your gaining weight. You should learn to relax and stop worrying. This is the first step in gaining weight. If you are one of those people who believe that people who are thin don't require any exercise, then you will have to change your ideas. You require regular physical exercise as much as anyone else. You should take up some exercise of your choice. This could be walking everyday or even jogging. You can also aim at gaining weight by increasing your muscles. If you plan on this, you will have to seek some professional help in following exercises which will help you build you muscles.

In addition you can also learn and practice some breathing and mediation techniques since this can help you relax. Sleep is essential for a healthy life and so you should get your daily quota of sleep. In fact, if it is possible, you should also take an afternoon nap since this will help you gain weight. This will not only help you relax but will certainly help you gain the weight you long to gain..

As far as your diet is concerned, you will wish to eat in larger quantities. In addition you should ensure that you eat healthy food. So stay away from food that contains white flour even if it can help you increase weight.. You should eat healthy food, well balanced food. Eat fresh fruits, whole grains and vegetables. You can also eat meats and fish. Eggs can be consumed regularly too. Among the fruits bananas, musk melons and mangoes are very effective in helping gain weight. These fruits can be eaten every day. When eating ripe mangoes always remember to drink a glass of milk since this will provide you the requisite amount of proteins.

You should avoid adding extra sugar to your fruit and stay away from aerated drinks since these will add weight but also make you unhealthy. Instead opt for fruit juices and healthy snacks.
