White heads are not different from many forms of acne except for the fact that the top of the pimple is white. The exact cause of the acne is not known, but it is believed to be caused by a variety of factors which are bad diet patterns, low levels of hygiene, stress, hormonal changes and due to other medical conditions. The reason acne occurs though is because the skin pores get blocked due to the excess of oil, which then mixes with bacteria which starts to grow and form the acne, especially on the fore head and cheeks which are most prone to white heads.
