Quit smoking remedies

Smoking can be one of the hardest addictions to kick, despite knowledge of the implications and health risks that are so obvious. Efforts to kick the habit are however useless if there is no real desire and determination to get rid of the habit. Natural herbs and home remedies have come to play an increasingly important role in efforts to quit smoking as they are quite effective as an aid and are also very cost effective.

Using herbs as an aide to quit smoking is becoming increasingly popular with many people and the practice has in fact been around for quite some time and used for a variety of treatments.
Mimosa tea, which is a South American shrub, native to Mexico and Brazil, has been found to be quite effective This tea helps to boost your mood and also provides relief from other symptoms like anxiety and headaches that are commonly associated with nicotine withdrawals.

Lobelia or indian tobacco is also quite popular for smokers, is believed by many to act as a natural tobacco repellent, making the smoker find the taste of tobacco repulsive.

According to some it has a calming effect on the nerves and body muscles and even provides relief from mild depression.

Following a natural detoxification plan would also be a very good idea.
