How to get healthier looking hair?

Most people want healthier-looking hair, but for that it is necessary that your hair is actually healthy. It is necessary to follow a regular hair care schedule as well as a healthy diet for healthy hair that has a natural shine and bounce.
Your shampoo is extremely important and it is necessary that you use one that suits your hair type.
However, keep in mind that it is not necessary that a shampoo meant for oily hair will necessarily suit you just because you have oily hair. It would be best if you experiment with a few shampoos, until you find one that suits you. You can also make your own shampoo.
You can use either soap nuts or Acacia concinna or a combination of the two to make your own shampoo. Add the nuts to a small saucepan of water and allow the water to simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes. Strain the liquid and store it away from direct sunlight. You can add lemon juice to this liquid if you have oily hair, tomato juice if you have normal hair and a spoon or two of fresh coconut milk if you have dry hair. You can adjust the ingredients in your shampoo for the best results. Soap nuts and Acacia concinna are mild and do not produce much lather. However, they are very effective cleansers and unlike cosmetic shampoos your homemade shampoo will not contain any added chemicals like dyes and perfumes. You can wash your hair daily if you have extremely oily hair, every alternate day if you have slightly oily to medium hair and twice a week if you have dry hair.
You can use a prewash conditioner on your hair to supply your hair with essential nutrients and fatty acids. Mix equal amounts of fresh coconut milk and tomato juice and apply this to your hair before your shower. Keep it on for at least 30 to 60 minutes before you wash your hair. If you cannot get your hands on any fresh coconut milk, you can blend an avocado and use this paste instead. This conditioner is rich in various fatty acids as well as nutrients like potassium and manganese which promote healthy hair. When it comes to a diet for healthier looking hair, foods that are rich in protein are necessary as hair is made up of a type of protein. Make sure that you include foods like cereals, milk, cheese and fish in you daily diet. Fish is also rich in various fatty acids that help to fortify the hair and prevent damage. Include dark green vegetables in your daily diet as most of these are rich in the mineral Zinc which prevents hair loss. In addition to this also include soy products in your diet as they contain phytoestrogens that help to boost overall health as well.
